The dwarf anteater flees into the trees.

I The Starting Line

Welcome to the world of the Anteater! My journey of the anteaters gave me many details. I chose this animal because I thought it might get rid of the ants. I am on a frenzy because of ants.

II Family History

The giant anteater is related to many different anteaters. New Born's must ride on the mothers back to protect the baby from attacks or fights. If an anteater is injured another one comes and takes its ants. The giant anteater eats 35,000 ants a day.                                                        The giant anteater eats 35,000 ants a day

III All about me!

Wonder what the anteater looks like. The anteater has many features. It has a small tail, yellow and gray fur, and a snout next time you see an anteater it will have ants in its mouth.

The spinny anteater has over thousands of spikes on its body.

IV Where am I

Want to find this anteater well look at a map or globe in South America. The anteater lives in a simple part of rainforest. It lives in both the understory and forestfloor. Take a trip and see one for yourself.

V Lunch time!

Do you dislike ants well this anteater  will get rid of them. Anteaters eat about 35,000 ants a day. It gets a meal by riping open a nest of ants put its tongue in than out so it won't get

 bitten. So long ants.

VI Friend or foe

The anteaters foes are obviously ants. The anteaters favorite breakfeast, lunch and dinner is ants it won't stop.

VII Protection

The way the anteater protects is it runs from battle hoping to still have its life. It uses its tiny claws in combat but only on smaller animals. In a battle with a giant animal it has no match againest it.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         The anteater stands on its hine legs to attack nests.

VIII Reproduction

When an anteater has babies as they call them cubs. The anteater no longer hunts itself it hunts for the cub.The eats about few hundred. The cub has to sit on the mothers back.

IX Friendship

If you travel to South America the chances are high you see an anteater. if you approach an anteater with ants it will gooble them right up. If in battle it will attack anything including you.

An anteater uses its long tonge to get its meals.

Population

The population of the anteater is high. they are rare. They are not an endangered species thank gob. Never threaten this creature.

XI Bed time

By the time the anteater is sleeping is when it has eaten milions of ants. Everytime its stomach is full it just has to sleep. If the ant eater had a meal of army ants or termites it cant sleep.

XII Habitats

The way an anteater has addapted it keeps warm with its fur. It gets tired on the mountains because it is hot and dusty. Sometimes it finds a meal of ants on the way and sits there having a great meal of ants.

XIII Habits

The number one habit of the anteaters is eating ants. It wont stop eating ants! It is cool how fast it eats them. No more ants ever again!

XIV Your Interesting

The charateristics of the anteater are eating ants, climbing trees, and fleeing from battle. One day, just one day go to the rain forest and find an anteater.
